BIOAVAILABILITY
METHOD OF CONSUMPTION
There are several different methods of general consumption of cannabinoids and each one has a different bioavailability. The four most common are: Ingested / Swallowed (edibles/drinks), Buccal / Sublingual (sprays/drops), Inhaled (smoked/vaped), and Topical (lotions, balms).
Buccal and/or Sublingual administration involves applying in the buccal area (cheek and gums) or under the tongue and diffusing through the oral mucosa (tissues which line the mouth) to enter directly into the bloodstream.
Buccal and sublingual administration provide better bioavailability and a more rapid onset of action compared to oral administration (edibles / gummies) by not passing through the digestive system and thereby avoiding first pass metabolism – which both delays and degrades the cannabinoids.
We have had enough of society telling us we need to work, work, work and sacrifice, sacrifice, sacrifice. It's time for a revolution.
Life is meant to be enjoyed.
